Last month, I baked many, many, MANY cupcakes for my cousin’s wedding. Since we were going to have an assortment of flavors, I knew that we’d need to have either a menu board or small “tents” to let the guests know what flavor they were trying. I decided that the tents would be simpler and more obvious, so I immediately contacted my friend Jen from Passion-for-Parties and asked her to throw something together in their wedding colors. As usual, she did not disappoint!
The tents were simple, elegant, and most importantly, had a beautiful font that was still really easy for the guests to read! (We’ve all seen the fonts that can get a little too intricate that they become hard to read, haven’t we??)
The little star in the corner of the vanilla cupcakes was my daughter adding her special touch to the design of the cupcake table!
Cupcakes are such a fun idea for a wedding because it provides you with so many choices as far as flavor goes. I made a small tiered cake for the bride and groom to use for pictures, and everyone else got to try the cupcakes. It was so fun to see the looks on the faces of the young kids as they eyed all the cupcakes on the table!
